A native of upstate New York, I have been living and working in the Chicagoland area for the past 25 years. I studied figure drawing, painting, and sculpture at the American Academy of Art and received a degree from Chicago’s Columbia College. I have also been known to paint and build things for money, but this is my first gallery show. Enjoy.
Six things to keep in mind while viewing my work:
- Old photos purchased at estate sales for a quarter can be a great source of inspiration.
- Please, do not eat the paintings. Some of the paintings may look like candy, but they are not.
- Love ignored is like heroin to the romantic fool… minus the euphoria.
- Depending on size and complexity, it takes five minutes to two and a half hours to make a building.
- Wood rocks.
